How to use?

Before applying the Sikkens Rubbol BL Rezisto Primer, ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. For best results, sand down any old paint layers and repair any imperfections. Apply the primer evenly using a brush or roller, and allow it to dry completely before applying your chosen topcoat. Typically, one coat is sufficient, but for porous surfaces, a second coat may be applied. The primer covers approximately 10-12 m² per liter, depending on the surface porosity.

While Sikkens Rubbol BL Rezisto Primer is excellent for wood and various other surfaces, it's not specifically designed for metal. For metal surfaces, consider using a primer specifically formulated for metal to ensure optimal adhesion and protection.

How long should I wait before applying the topcoat?

Usually, the primer dries to the touch within a few hours. However, it's best to wait at least 24 hours to ensure it's fully cured before applying the topcoat. This ensures the best adhesion and finish.
