Paint for windows and doors

Are your doors or windows in need of a refresh? You're lucky you ended up here, because with our paint products you can paint both your interior and exterior doors, window frames and window sills.

Which paint you exactly need for which job is explained below. 👇

Popular categories for your doors and windows

Whether you want to get started with an indoor lacquer, an outdoor lacquer or a stain, we definitely have it in our range. You can check out all these product categories below. Do not forget to use the filters. For example, turn on the filter area: windows & doors.

How much lacquer paint do I need to paint a door?

If you are going to paint a new interior door with a topcoat paint on both sides, you will have to paint about 4m². Keep in mind that you always have to apply two coats of your topcoat, so this actually comes to 8m².

With most lacquers, you can cover about 10-12m²/per litre. With half a litre, you will therefore fall just short, but with one litre you will have more than enough. So it is best to count on 0.75l of paint per door. Do you also want to paint the door frame? Then you will need about 1l of topcoat for your total project (doors + door frames).

Do you also need a primer? Then 0.5l of paint primer will be more than enough per door.

We would like to mention that it is always best to look at the yield per paint. We have given the average/most common here, but it is always possible that the yield is greater or less depending on how thin or thick you apply the paint. It is also best to consult the specific yield of the paint via the product properties or in the technical data sheet.
