How do you use Sigma Wall Primer Plus?
Preparation: It goes without saying that you cover everything you don't want to paint with. But that is by no means all that preparation for your painting job entails. For example, your substrate should already be nice and even, with no unevenness, bumps or pits. Make sure you let the putty dry completely as stated in the technical data sheet. We also recommend lightly sanding the wall and removing the dust afterwards.
Start priming! Stir the pot well and then you can apply the primer with an anti-static roller. You can of course use a paint brush for the edges.
Let the primer coat dry for 4 hours before you start applying the effective wall or ceiling paint.

How much Sigma WallPrimer Plus do you need?
Sigma Wallprimer Plus is only available in large packs of 10L. With 10L of this wall primer plus, you can paint approximately 90m². So this primer is ideal for giving various rooms their first base coat.
90m² with 10L Sigma Wallprimer Plus is the average consumption. Note that how much you actually consume depends on the substrate and painting style. Do you have some left over at the end of your paint job? Then you can perfectly store it for over a year by simply closing the paint pot tightly in a dry room where the temperature remains above 5C° and below 25C°.
If you are still a bit short, you can of course order extra of this primer. We always have this primer in stock, so you can get started quickly.
If ordering an extra 10L of Sigma WallPrimer Plus is a bit too much, the Sigmacryl Prim Opaque might be the perfect solution for you. This is also available in 1L or 2.5L packaging.
