How to apply Levis Ambiance Beton Effect?
Preparation: As with any paint job, cover everything that does not need to be painted and make sure you prepare the surface properly first. The advantage to this product is that small cracks and unevennesses will work themselves out when you paint over them with Levis Ambiance Beton Effect. Larger cracks do need to be filled with a filler.
If your wall has a good intact paint layer, you do not need to buy extra primer. If the surface has never been painted before, apply 1 coat of Levis Primer Mur & Plafond.
Application: To apply this paint, you will need a special roller and spatula.
Using the roller, first apply a thick layer of the Ambiance Beton Effect. After waiting about five minutes, criss-cross through it with the iron in random directions. When ironing, you don't have to apply much pressure to get a beautiful result. Note: always work in areas of about 2 to 4m², as you only have twenty to thirty minutes to smooth the paint. After half an hour, the paint is really too dry to achieve the desired effect.
Done! Or not, because clearing up has to be done too. The roller is one to be reused so it needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Fortunately, you can use just water for this instead of white spirit.
