Preparation of the Wood New wood: Clean and degrease the substrate with a synthetic thinner, then scrub the substrate and make it dust-free. Pretreated wood: Remove oil and blistered parts completely. Can be applied on all transparent stain and varnish layers. Treat bare and damaged spots as new wood.
