Description
Trae Lyx Base Coat Lacquer is a water-based 1-component clear parquet primer with a renewed quality. Specially developed for the isolation of wooden floors. Prevents discolouration and bleeding of knots and brushes in subsequent coats of lacquer.
Key Features
- High solids content and high viscosity.
- The wood and any small joints and cracks are properly filled so that you get a smooth surface for the subsequent coats of parquet lacquer.
- The reprocessing of the wood fibres is kept to a minimum.
- Prevents the darkening of various types of wood such as certain types of oak.
- Prevents discolouration and bleeding of knots and brushes in subsequent coats of lacquer.
- Insulates some constituents (e.g. tannic acid) that occur in some types of wood, preventing stripes or discolouration.
- Intensifies the natural, warm tone of the wood to achieve an appealing result.
