Description

Trae Lyx Base Coat Lacquer is a water-based 1-component clear parquet primer with a renewed quality. Specially developed for the isolation of wooden floors. Prevents discolouration and bleeding of knots and brushes in subsequent coats of lacquer.

Key Features

High solids content and high viscosity.
The wood and any small joints and cracks are properly filled so that you get a smooth surface for the subsequent coats of parquet lacquer.
The reprocessing of the wood fibres is kept to a minimum.
Prevents the darkening of various types of wood such as certain types of oak.
Prevents discolouration and bleeding of knots and brushes in subsequent coats of lacquer.
Insulates some constituents (e.g. tannic acid) that occur in some types of wood, preventing stripes or discolouration.
Intensifies the natural, warm tone of the wood to achieve an appealing result.
