What's in it for you

  • You don’t need any additional primer
  • You can apply several layers in 1 day
  • Water-based paint is better for the environment
  • Your paint colour won’t yellow
  • Rain or frost won’t affect your paintwork

Sikkens Rubbol BL Exterior - one-pot outdoor lacquer

Description

Painting outdoors with a water-based lacquer paint? It is not only more environmentally friendly, but also as strong as synthetic exterior paint. In addition, Sikkens Rubbol BL Exterior has another big benefit: this lacquer paint is a one-pot system. So you can use it as a primer, intermediate and topcoat. In other words, it saves you more space in your storage room by not having to buy an extra container of primer.

The lacquer also saves time due to its quick-drying properties. For example, the lacquer is dust- and tack-free after only about 1 hour, which means that pollen, lint or small flies cannot get into the paint. And after 6 hours of drying, you can repaint to apply a new layer. So applying several layers in one day is definitely a possibility.

Finally, this paint forms a shield against weather influences, so rain and UV rays will not affect the paint and substrate. Therefore, there will also be no yellowing of the colours.

So do you want to paint your exterior cladding, wooden gate, doors or windows? Then this Rubbol BL Exterior is an excellent choice! You can also use this enamel paint as a topcoat for aluminium, PVC or metal substrates, but you will need another primer. The same goes for bleeding wood and horizontal parts. You can find more info on this in the technical data sheet.
