Piwel Staalwol - Abrasive material

Description

Piwel Steel wool is extremely suitable for sanding, polishing and cleaning various substrates such as metal, wood but also marble and granite. The steel wool is available in different variants of coarseness from very fine to medium coarse (the higher the number, the coarser the steel wool).

As an application on metal, Piwel Steel Wool 00 - very fine and 1 - fine can be used to remove stubborn stains (e.g. on pans, barbecue, oven, ...). In turn, Piwel Steel Wool 2 - medium and 3 - medium coarse are ideal for removing rust and corrosion.

Piwel Steel Wool can also be used to prepare wooden surfaces before painting. With the Piwel Steel Wool 2 - medium and 3 - medium coarse you can easily remove loose paint flakes, old layers of paint as well as old layers of varnish with or without a paint remover. It also gives a surface a smooth finish and removes dust from wood pores, making painting or staining easier.

Note: For cutting up steel wool, the use of scissors is recommended, never handle the steel wool with unprotected hands but always wear gloves.

From our experience, it seems that sending heavy paint pots without packaging is the safest way to deliver your order to you undamaged. You cannot select this method yourself, but we will choose it for you if we consider it the safest option.

If you would like your paint to be delivered to a country outside the Benelux, please contact our customer service department regarding the extra shipping costs for your order. Shipping to the United Kingdom is unfortunately not possible.

Can I return this product?

Standard white paint can be returned after contacting us. Paint that we have coloured specially for you (RAL, NCS, etc.) unfortunately cannot be returned. Read more about our return conditions or contact our customer service if you have any further questions.
