FLOETROL is a balanced acrylic binder that gives emulsion paints and opaque stains the properties of an oil-based paint. Emulsion paints to which FLOETROL has been added have a longer open time, better workability and reduce the risk of visible deposits.
Description
FLOETROL® is a latex paint additive that gives interior and exterior emulsion and acrylic paints the flow properties of oil paints and compensates for the adverse effects of weathering and surface conditions on paints and primers. If the paint is viscous, dries too quickly or does not flow nicely, add 7-10% Floetrol per liter of paint until it is easy to work with, spreads easily and has a sufficiently long open time.
