Finishing Chalk Effect is ideal for decorating moulded objects, furniture and woodwork. This product can be applied directly to raw wood or used as a finish on Libéron casein-based furniture paint. Instructions for use:Preparation: "Finishing Chalk Effect" paint is applied directly to substrates that have first been painted with Libéron casein-based furniture paint, or to untreated wood (on oak, apply primer of Libéron's anti-tannic acid first to prevent rising tannic acid). This product is a matt powder paint with a chalk effect that is perfect for your wooden furniture.Application: Step 1: Using the la brosse badigeon from libéron, apply two coats of casein-based furniture paint. Do not smooth the paint. On the contrary, make dabbing motions with your brush to create relief. You canalso apply Finishing Chalk Effect directly to untreated wood. Leave to dry for 4 hours. Step 2: Apply Finishing Chalk Effect (dominant colour) to the painted part with a brush for covering. It is not necessary to apply too thick a layer of it. Step 3: When the Finishing Chalk Effect paint is dry, wipe the corners, edges, mouldings, etc. with a damp special effect sponge to create traces of natural wear. Rub back and forth over the paint. Rinse the sponge very regularly.
