This product can be applied directly over rust without the need for a primer, halting the rusting process and offering up to 8 years of protection.
Whether you're dealing with ferrous metals or non-ferrous ones like zinc, aluminium, or galvanized metal, Hammerite Metaallak Hoogglans ensures a durable finish. For heavily rusted areas, consider pre-treating with Hammerite Nr. 1 Anti-Rust Primer for even greater protection. For non-ferrous metals, it's best to use Hammerite Non-Ferro Metal Primer before application.

For best results, apply two coats, allowing 15 minutes to 3 hours of drying time between coats. Coverage is approximately 5m² per liter, depending on the surface texture. Suitable for use in dry weather conditions.
